Pricing and Admittance Policy
The Assembly Rooms will use the following conditions & definitions in regards pricing & admittance. Any discounted, or age restricted sales should be backed up with evidence where possible.

Children  
0-24 months Free
24 months to 16 years Child rates will apply if on offer
16+ Adult rates will apply

Push chairs and prams will not be allowed into the auditorium, unless permission has been sort in advance from the Assembly Rooms Management.

Children who have reached the age of 14 will be allowed unaccompanied by an adult in to an event as long as there are no age restrictions in place for that event.

Where children cry or make inappropriate sounds, for a non children’s show. The supervising adult will be asked to try & keep the child or children quiet. If the crying or inappropriate sounds continues the supervising adult will be asked to remove the child or children from the auditorium.

Where children cry or make inappropriate sounds, for a children’s show, more tolerance will be allowed. However if the situation becomes a problem for other customers, the supervising adult will be asked to try & keep the child or children quiet. If the crying or inappropriate sounds continues the supervising adult will be asked to remove the child or children from the auditorium. Alternatively the customers in question could be moved to other seats. In all cases the situation is at the discretion of the Duty Manager.

Babes in arms or children 24 months or under will be admitted free although they will need to be sold a ticket for fire regulations.

Disabled      
There will be no concessions specifically for disabled customers. However normal concessions will apply e.g. OAP. Benefits

Carers             
For disabled customers who need physical assistance in accessing Tamworth Assembly Rooms facilities in the form of a carer, this carer will be allowed a ticket at zero cost, although a ticket will need to be sold for fire regulations. N.B. as per the above Disabled conditions, a full price ticket must be purchased to obtain a zero cost carer ticket.
            
OAP
An OAP is any person who has reached the age of 65.

Benefits
The following benefits only, are eligible for a concessionary rate. Proof of the benefit must be obtained at the point of sale.

Groups
TBC will offer a standard 10% off each ticket at the point of sale for bookings of 10 tickets or more.

Discounts for larger bookings are at the discretion of the Assembly Rooms Manager

Early Bird
For certain shows an Early Bird discounted ticket price may be offered up to a certain date. The terms & conditions may vary per show but will be listed in the What’s On Guide.

Advance / Door Tickets
For certain shows a discounted ticket price may be offered in advance up to the day of the show it self. Tickets sold at the actual event will be considered “Door” tickets and sold at the “Door” rate.

Concessions
Concessions will vary from show to show depending on the nature of the show & the contractual agreement with the performers. Where standard concessions apply they will be as follows

Artists Comp Tickets
All Complimentary tickets must be arranged through the Venue Management

Press Tickets
Complimentary press tickets must be arranged through the Venue Management or The Marketing Manager

Promotional Comp Tickets
Complimentary tickets must be arranged through the Venue Management or The Marketing Manager

Posting
Tickets can be posted out to customers, subject to a posting fee of £1.50.

Transaction Fees

All phone and online orders are subject to a £1 transaction fee.

Credit Cards
There are no extra charges for using credit or debit cards.

Discounted Tickets
Any pricing promotion / concession / special offer can not be used in conjunction with any other promotion / concession / special offer. Customers are entitles to the one, promotion / concession / special offer which offers them the best deal only.

Refunds
The Assembly Rooms does not offer refunds on tickets sold. Exceptions are at the discretion of the Box Office or Venue Management & must be submitted in writing. Examples of exceptional circumstances are, death of a close family member or being involved in a car accident.

Reselling of Tickets
The reselling of tickets for a show or event will only be considered if an event has sold out & will be subject to a 20% transaction fee per ticket.

Refusal of Entry / Refusal to sell tickets
Tamworth Borough Council retains the right to refuse entry or sell tickets to any customer or member of the public.

Removal from the Premises
The Venue Management retains the right to remove customers or members of the public from the Venue.
