World Book day brings a roaring ticket sale for the Reluctant Dragon

Celebrate World Book day on March 1 and grab yourself a roaring bargain of 20% off all tickets to the Reluctant Dragon performance coming to Dosthill Park this June.

 

Popular touring theatre group, Quantum Theatre, will be performing a classic retelling of ‘St George and the Dragon’ from the author of The Wind in the Willows, Kenneth Grahame. The Reluctant Dragon is a funny, touching and enchanting story of bravery and friendship and will be live in Dosthill Park on Saturday, June 23.

 

Normal ticket prices are: Adults: £9 Concessions: £6 Family: £25 (2 adults 2 children under 16) and under 2s free. But on March 1 for one day only, you can purchase tickets with a fierce discount of 20%.

Children under the age of two get in free of charge but still need a ticket. All tickets must be booked in advance as there will be no door sales on the day.

 

The production is guaranteed to thrill audiences with this live performance; making it a must-see for this summer.   

 

The story describes a young boy who befriends a poetry-loving dragon living in the Downs above his home. When the townsfolk send for St.George to slay the dragon, the boy needs to come up with a clever plan to save his friend and convince the townsfolk to accept him. St George has to do battle with the dragon, but what happens when the dragon simply won’t fight St George?

 

The show is recommended for children of all ages and their families and lasts for 1hour 20 minutes including a 20 minute interval.
