An experienced and creative event manager and project lead from the Midlands.

Cathy has led, conceptualised and delivered successful large-scale community events with audiences of 20,000+ as well as small scale bespoke projects and fundraisers. Professional and detail orientated, she has wide ranging experience of project management, onsite event management, budget and funding management, logistics management and successful project evaluation approaches.  An exceptional communicator, Cathy demonstrates a flair for developing and managing creative briefs with stakeholders, partners, and local communities and with artist and practitioner liaison, support and development. Currently looking for new projects to be involved with. Previous projects have included:- Co-Director Lichfield Fuse Festival. Responsible for the relaunch and rebranding of Fuse Festival in 2016, developing a diverse and creative programme, developing a wider audience demographic through the development of a new marketing strategy which led to a doubling of footfall within two years, working with key stake holders including Arts Council England, District and County Councils and other partner organisations and funders, taking the festival into a financially viable and sustainable status, onsite management of festival and management of team, onsite live generation of marketing content, developing and delivering data collection strategies and full writing of Arts Council Evaluation Report.

Project Lead, Lichfield Cathedral. Project Manager for their programme of large scale events including, ‘The Great Exhibition 2018 – Imagine Peace’, an extensive visual and digital art exhibition that attracted a footfall of over 18,000 into the medieval building. ‘Doves – Peace at Christmas’, Completed in Dec 18. A visual art project featuring an installation of 20,000 paper doves individually decorated by children from over 30 schools as part of 'The Cathedral Illuminated'. ‘The Great Exhibition 2019 – Space, God, The Universe and Everything’. Due for delivery August 19.
